Fees
Fees on the Galactic Marketplace directly support both the Star Atlas DAO and the ongoing development of the decentralized Star Atlas ecosystem.
Who pays fees in a transaction?
In any given transaction, the party supplying the currency side of the exchange pays fees. For example:
If Alice places an order to sell their Pearce X4 bike, the buyer of that bike will pay fees for the transaction because they are the party supplying currency.
On the other hand, if Alice places an order to buy a Pearce X4 bike, then Alice will pay fees for the transaction because she is the party supplying the currency side of the transaction.
Allocation Strategy
All collected fees are split between ATMTA, Inc. and the Star Atlas DAO:
Entity | Fee Allocation |
---|---|
Star Atlas DAO | 33% |
ATMTA, Inc. | 67% |
Fee Reductions
Users have the opportunity to reduce transaction fees on the marketplace by staking ATLAS through the Star Atlas DAO.
